Capstone Content

This was one of the final projects I did here at Stevenson, my capstone project. In this project we were asked to take something that expressed a part of ourselves, then using a medium of design express that part you want to display. My take on this was showing how music plays a role in design. So each of these digital mock-ups are each based on different songs by a single artist.

The Lunar Yard

Thix assignment was to create a restaurant idea and build a menu idea for it. The idea I went with was without really realizing it when I first did it this black and gold theme gave off a kind of Great Gatsby vibe, so as I designed it I just decided to go and design the piece around this idea

Team Member Spotlights

This was a project done for my summer internship. In this, my supervisor Kanika Misra (top left) asked me to make spotlights for each of her staff members to talk about them and what their roles are in her company for their website. I had to take each image I was given for each team member, then using Figma software by Kanika’s request, Create these spotlight images for each of her team members since she has a very small staff, but because of the work they do, creating something like these wasn’t exactly something they had the time for. So for the internship I helped them so they could get the spotlights they needed

Music of the World

This was an app design project where our assignment was to create an app that could teach a lesson. I decided to use the idea of teaching young kids about different instruments, since that relates to different cultures.

Social Commentary of a Pandemic

This assignment came in the midst of the pandemic. In PHOTO 341, our tassk was to create a social commentary about daily life, which would have taken place around the school. However, because of the pandemic we wereforced to come up wit new scenarios with which to work off at home. I feel for this project at least it worked out slightly better because doing it at home there was a lot more options to work from in terms of displaying our own lifestyle and individual personalities.

Typeface Project

These spreads show a specimen project I had to do for Type II. Our assignment was to find a font, take and research it and find the design history behind it. After that point we were asked to use the font in some form of typographical format, so I decided to create the lett3ers of thee font, as well as build Japanese characters out blocks of the font.

Static Website

This was a Web Design project in which we were instructed to create a static website for a business whose website was either in need of some creative assistance or didn’t have a website. I decided to do a chinese restaurant that is not far from where I live. After doing extensive research for it, I found out this business did not actually have a website, so I decided to take their logo and a paper version of their menu that I was working off and create a website that would work out for the assignment.

A Haunted Night

This was the final project for my film class my first semester at Stevenson. Our assignment was to work in groups to create a video with any plot of our choosing, as long as the entire video was 5 minutes or longer. Students had full access to the cage to get all lights, microphones and cameras needed for the project. The plot of our movie focuses on the college girl Liz who is alone at her dorm with all of her roomates out at a party. She decides to watch a scary movie from a recommendation from her friend Matt, who was called into work while they were studying. At her dorm many strange things are happening. The furniture moves, lights turn off, and the faucet turns on. Freaked out, she calls Matt, suspecting it is him, however he doesn’t even know where Liz lives on campus, and he has been at work. In the end, the video came to a little under 6 minutes long
